What does Gluten-Reduced mean?
M8 beer uses a special enzyme to break down gluten in its wheat, barley, or rye ingredients. While this doesn’t remove gluten, it reduces it to fragments too small to be detected.
Our gluten-reduced beer is safe for many with gluten sensitivity but cannot be labeled "gluten-free" due to U.S. regulations. It can be labeled "gluten-reduced" if it contains less than 20 ppm of gluten. The key difference is in the ingredients and individual dietary comfort.
